Gisele Bundchen wed her new boyfriend

The much-awaited marriage of Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen and National Football League star Tom Brady took place in the Los Angeles suburb of Santa Monica Thursday.

US Weekly reported the marriage at a Catholic church in Santa Monica, Califi, was mostly attended by her immediate family members. The bride wore Dolce & Gabbana as did her three dogs.

Bundchen was previously linked with actor Leonardo DiCaprio. Forbes.com reported last May that she was the world's highest-paid supermodel, with estimated annual earnings of 35 million U.S. dollars.

Brady has an 18-month-old son with actress Bridget Moynahan, with whom he broke up about the time she got pregnant, the entertainment magazine reported.

Aishwarya refuses to accept French award

She might be Bollywood's most international star, but Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is a family girl first. Close on the heels of the Padmashri she won last month, came an incredible honour from France.

The French government has bestowed the 'Officer of the order of arts and letters' on Ash. This is the second highest civilian honour given by the French government.

But Ash refused to accept the award at the time set by the French government because her father was unwell, and she wanted him to be there when she receives it.

Reports say Ash's dad is better now so it seems the ceremony will soon be scheduled and it seems her parents, brother, hubby and in-laws will all be there to sheer her on.
